Bamboo Straws 22 cm - Lot of 12 - Bambaw

The box contains:

• 12 reusable bamboo straws

All the straws in the set are 22 cm long. They are made from a single bamboo shoot, so each one has a unique diameter which is always between 6 and 10 mm.
The straws can therefore be used for cocktails, syrups, fruit juices, milkshakes, as well as for thicker drinks such as smoothies.

Locally produced, the straws are handmade in Indonesia. The bamboo is harvested by cutting down invasive bamboo plants on farmers' properties (the bamboo does not come from agricultural bamboo fields!). This provides additional income for farmers who previously burned this invasive bamboo. The bamboo is then sanded, boiled and washed.
Strong and durable, the bamboo is dishwasher safe while remaining biodegradable, making it the perfect solution for everyday reusable straws.

• A cleaning brush

The cleaning brush is made of pineapple leaf fibers to be strong and durable. This gives a second life to these leaves since they are usually thrown away after the use of the pineapple. The handle is made of stainless steel.

• An individual storage pouch

The cotton storage pouch makes it easy to carry a straw wherever you go, so you can refuse single-use straws in any circumstance.

Cleaning and care:

After use, rinse the straws with warm soapy water and clean them with the cleaning brush. Let them dry upright. Straws are dishwasher safe, but cleaning is more effective by hand. If the straws are stained, you can boil them for 10 minutes or soak them in a vinegar solution.
Occasionally, straws can be oiled with walnut, coconut or almond oil (olive oil is not suitable!) with a cloth and left overnight.
